Christy Meilin Weatherholt, DVM

Dr. Christy Meilin Weatherholt is a dedicated veterinary professional, born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley, where she has spent most of her life. With over 20 years in the veterinary industry, she began her career as a veterinary assistant and later as a licensed veterinary technician while working her way through school. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from UNLV in 2009 and went on to receive her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Oregon State University in 2014.

After practicing as a small animal general practitioner for 8 years, Dr. Weatherholt transitioned into shelter medicine, where she worked for another 3 years. Around 2 years ago, she began her spiritual journey and has been continually amazed by the power of the mind, body, and spirit. This transformative journey led her to the realization that we are all made of stardust and energy. Energy work and sound healing have played a significant role in her personal growth, and she is passionate about sharing these practices with her patients and clients.

Dr. Christy Weatherholt is also Certified as a Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian (CPEV), dedicated to providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets. This certification reflects her commitment to ensuring that animals transition peacefully and with dignity, supporting both the pets and their families during this sensitive time. Additionally, she is Certified as a Reiki Level II Practitioner, which allows her to channel healing energy to promote relaxation and emotional well-being for both animals and their owners. This holistic approach fosters a deeper connection and supports the healing process on multiple levels. Furthermore, as a Certified Sound Healer, she also utilize sound therapy techniques to create a calming environment that aids in stress relief and healing. This practice enhances the emotional and physical well-being of animals and their guardians, encouraging harmony and balance.
